Lessons Learned

  1. Plan ahead, If Getting interviews with no microphone make sure that the subject is in a quieter place than the hubbub.
  2. Plan ahead. Leave enough editing time to do some audio enhancements.
  3. You can turn “Ripple Editing” Off after everything has been inserted so that you don’t have to adjust the position of every track every time you change something.
  4. Instead of applying effects per event try applying them per track.
  5. Make sure to get a little snippet of us all sitting around discussing scripture.
  6. Assign Camera duty to someone else other than the group leader.
  7. Use your good headphones. You have them for a reason.
